The Wallywhy100 is set to make its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, which will take place from September 10-15. This 21.4-meter yacht aims to showcase a blend of functionality and style within the 70-foot segment.
Wally continues to demonstrate innovation in yacht design and functionality. The Wallywhy100 is an extension of the next-generation Wallywhy range, building on the features of its predecessors, the Wallywhy200 and Wallywhy150. It offers a seamless combination of comfort and performance.
One of the standout features of the Wallywhy100 is its single living level, which includes an iconic glass superstructure, open living areas, and a spacious sea terrace. This design promotes a seamless flow from bow to stern, emphasizing a new way to interact with the sea and surroundings. The aft sea terrace is particularly notable, stretching to 14 square meters and featuring a hydraulic platform for launching tenders and toys up to 3.6 meters in length, as well as a hydraulic passerelle-swim ladder for easy water access. Drop-down wings further extend the terrace, providing unobstructed views.
The interior of the Wallywhy100 includes a hybrid saloon and dining area within the angular glass superstructure, and an internal helm with joystick control. The yacht is powered by twin D13 engines, allowing for a cruising speed of 24 knots and a top speed of 27 knots with the optional Volvo Penta IPS1350 engines.
Accommodations on the lower deck include a full-beam master cabin with an ensuite featuring electrically switched privacy glass, two guest cabins (a VIP stateroom and a twin cabin), each with ensuites and large hull portholes. The yacht also includes dedicated crew access from both the main and lower decks, a feature uncommon in yachts of this size.
The foredeck features a multi-use lounge that can serve as an aperitivo area or for alfresco meals, with convertible seating that can be transformed into sunbeds. This flexible area is designed for various cruising activities, whether at anchor or underway.
In addition to the Wallywhy100, visitors at Cannes will also see the new Wallypower50, making its first appearance on the water since its debut at boot Düsseldorf 2024 in January.
